Introducing Spectrum Astrolabe

Today, on World Autism Awareness Day, I’m excited to share with you a small project that’s been close to my heart for several months now: Spectrum Astrolabe, a hub of information dedicated to exploring neurodiversity and all things related to the autism spectrum. As a parent of two special needs boys, I’ve learned so much about the importance of understanding and embracing neurodiversity. This project is designed to provide a centralized resource for learning and support across multiple platforms.

The name Spectrum Astrolabe is inspired by the ancient astronomical instrument, the astrolabe, which was used to navigate and understand the celestial world. Just as the astrolabe helped explorers chart their course through the stars, Spectrum Astrolabe aims to help navigate the complexities of neurodiversity and the autism spectrum by providing insights, tips, and resources.

I created Spectrum Astrolabe because I wanted to share the wealth of information I’ve gathered on my own journey with autism and ADHD. By sharing insights, tips, and personal stories, we can better support families and individuals on the spectrum. A big part of this project involves gathering news and updates about neurodiversity, ensuring that you have access to the latest developments and research in the field.
